Small Groups

Click on below for more information on the following types of small groups:

We believe we were created in Christ to live in community and corporately display the love of God to the world around us (John 17:20-23, Hebrews 10:24-25, 1 Corinthians 12-14, 1 John 4:12, Romans 5:15).

One way we facilitate this model of living is through small groups that meet in homes throughout the week.  College Students have the opportunity to participate in adult-led, student-led, or inter-generational small groups.

For more information about joining a small group, contact Caleb Ryon or Kelsey Vansteenbergen (smallgroups@fbcbryancollege.org) or fill out the form below.

The following are brief descriptions of the types of small groups available:

Student-led Small Groups

Student-led small groups will gather weekly in students’ homes, and will be comprised solely of college students.  These are Guys-Only, Girls-only, and Co-Ed groups made up of 10-20 college students, and will be led by a trained student leader.

Adult-led Small Groups

Adult-led college small groups are weekly gatherings that meet in adult or student homes, and are comprised of a few adult leaders and 10-20 college students.  These small groups will have a particular focus on Scripture study, led by adult leaders in the college group.

Intergenerational Small Groups

Within Intergenerational small groups, children, adults, families, and students of all ages will meet together on a weekly basis to pray and study the Word of God in Biblical fellowship.  Students who take part in intergenerational small groups are enabled to experience the transforming power of the gospel within the family structure, and see the gospel at work within a wide variety of contexts, all present within the body of believers.
